POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for administering human resources services at the Cigar Lake operation. Working with the supervisors, you will be responsible for matters regarding employee and labour relations. Other responsibilities include supervision of wellness staff, site recruitment activities, workforce planning and the delivery of human resources and employment benefits programs.
You will administer the attendance management program and support front line leadership through employee coaching, training on corporate HR and site best practices, as well as the performance management program.
This is a temporary position for approximately one year.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
A bachelor of business degree with a specialization in human resource management
Five to eight years of relevant work experience in human resources
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills are required
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
A CPHR designation
Experience using HR management information systems, specifically SAP
