Description

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Camp Nurse, the Student Nurse is responsible for the health, well being and safety of the staff and campers at all times.  
Duties include:
-  Providing first aid treatment and nursing care as required
-  Pouring medication (under the supervision on the Camp Nurse)
-  Working as a liaison with the Watrous Hospital
-  Working as a liaison between the Camp,
parents/guardians, campers and care facilities
-  Working as a liaison with Counsellors, Counsellor Coordinators, Administration and Dietary Staff
-Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the
medical centre
-  Other duties as specified by the Camp Nurse, Camp Manager

Qualifications:
-  Completed 3rd year in an Accredited School of Nursing
-  Successful completion of Drug Calculation Exam
-  Ability to work with people with varying abilities
-  Effective interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and facilitation skills
-  Oral communication skills
-  Positive attitude

The final candidates are required to provide a
satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search at their cost.
