Description

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Camp Manager, the Camp Nurse is responsible for the health, well-being and safety of the campers and staff at all times.

Duties include:
-    Responsible for all medication on camp and supervise counsellors assisting with medication for all campers
-    Providing first aid treatment and nursing care as required
-    Working as a liaison with Camp and the Watrous District Health Complex, parents/guardians, campers and care facilities
-    Working as a liaison with Counsellors, Counsellor Coordinators, Administration and Dietary Staff
-    Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the medical centre
-    Other duties as specified by the Camp Manager

Qualifications:
-    Saskatchewan Licensed Registered Nurse or Saskatchewan Licensed Practical Nurse
-    Ability to work with people with varying abilities
-    Effective interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and facilitation skills
-    Oral communication skills
-    Positive attitude
