We are presently recruiting a Temporary/Full Time Journeyperson Red Seal Plumber, with the possibility of turning into a permanent position.
Successful applicants will:
Have Journeyperson Red Seal certification in plumbing.
Have Gas Fitting/Pipe Fitting certifications/ ability to quickly obtain.
Have a good record with regulatory bodies with regards to permitting and licensing.
Have experience in general construction.
Have experience with tools of the construction trades.
Be willing and able to periodically assist the installation crew with onsite set-ups.
Perform all general construction tasks in a team environment, when plumbing work is unavailable.
Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Have the ability to draft isometric drawings.
Show pride of workmanship and be detailed orientated.
Be willing and able to work full-time Monday to Friday.
Have a valid Class 5 drivers license, with an acceptable drivers abstract.
Have reliable transportation to and from our facility. City transit is not available.
Adhere to our COR certified safety program as a condition of employment.
Adhere to our Fit For Duty Program. As this is a safety sensitive position, full drug and alcohol testing in accordance with COAA is a requirement.
Supply CSA approved safety boots 6" ankle height required.
Applicable, approved safety training may be considered an asset.
Have the ability to produce proof of certification.
Have the ability to perform all the listed duties without and medical restrictions.
We supply all applicable tools, personal protective equipment, and safety training.
