Description

Overview:The ultimate driver of success is the satisfaction of our customers.

Will also be highly efficient & productive
Works effectively from various tied-off work positions at small to medium-sized heights above ground while completing necessary trimming and pruning to eliminate hazards and preserve the health of trees.
Participates in the planting and maintenance of new trees.
Operates aerial lift trucks, dump and flatbed trucks, stump grinders, brush chippers, chainsaws, power pruners, pole saws, and a variety of small power and hand tools in the tree maintenance division of Sawyers.
Loads, unloads and maneuvers a variety of equipment and materials such as leaves, limbs, trunk wood, and other debris and loads into chippers, containers or dump trucks for removal.
Turns in paperwork in a disciplined manner, as required.
Communicate effectively with Ops Manager, when there is a problem requiring a practical or emergency solution.
Utilizes appropriate safety equipment and procedures
*Will develop and maintain positive relationships within the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:
1.Knowledge & hands-on practice of rigging techniques as learned from Operations Manager and Crew Foreman.  
2.Knowledge of Trees and Shrubs, and their diseases caused by insects, fungus, soil environment.
3.Diagnose problems & recommend additional services, such as tree planting or landscape revitalization / upgrades.
4.Understand & follow proper pruning techniques, as per ISA standard guidelines
5.Understand and follow equipment load working limits.
