Description

Located in Prince, SK. in the RM of Meota, Farmer Brown's Honey is looking for Apiary workers with a minimum of 1 year experience in commercial beekeeping.

Beekeeping experience is preferred. This position requires familiarity with all aspects of beekeeping:  Hive/colony health, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.

Secondary school students are welcome to apply as well as others looking for seasonal work.

These jobs are physically demanding, and sometimes repetitive.  The ability to lift >25 kgs is necessary, thus applicants must be in good physical condition. Willing to work as a team and to think and act independently are critical.  The ability and desire work around bees is important.  You will either love it or hate it. The ability to stay calm under pressure is important.  No bee allergies.

Preference for English speakers with drivers license valid in Canada.

All wages are negotiable, based on experience.  40-50 hours a week, or as required.
