Carrier Forest Products' Big River Mill is currently accepting applications for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Prince George location. We will also consider 3rd year and 4th year applicants.
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic (HD), you effectively perform major and minor repairs, overhauls and servicing on all types of trucks / units. The main function of the position is to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild engine products in a sawmill environment. The ideal candidate must be team-oriented, versatile, resourceful, dependable, flexible and help develop less experienced technicians. It is your responsibility to work as an effective member of the team to achieve a positive impact to our customer and corporate expectations. This position is all about collaboratively communicating and performing daily operations to meet goals.
