Description

Adecco Saskatoon is currently recruiting for an experienced, hands on Shop Foreman to join our client's organization in North Battleford.  
This full time permanent job is responsible for managing all aspects of our client's manufacturing operations and will report directly to the General Manager.  With a team of approximately 20 - 40 employees you will be responsible for managing the team from inventory, through fabrication and final product shipping.

Key Accountabilities for the Shop Foreman include, but are not limited to:

- Manage work in progress, maintain shop production and customer shipping schedules.
- Continuously inspect jobs and train/coach employees to ensure a high level of quality control and efficient workflow.
- Ensure fabrication, welding and paint quality meets customer and company standards on all jobs.
- Oversee all personnel issues to include safety, performance, training, employee relation issues and disciplinary process in conjunction with company policies.
- Prepare, assign and oversee all work completed in the shop ensuring proper allocation, logging of materials and quality control checks
- Oversee procurement to maintain adequate steel and other component inventories.

The successful candidate will be someone who is well rounded in the steel fabrication trade with a minimum of 10 years hands on experience in a Foreman and/or Supervisory position.  An experienced tradesperson (Journeyman Welder or Millwright) would be ideal but our client would also consider other related designations with experience in fabrication.

Candidates must be open and willing to relocate to North Battleford.  A criminal record and current drivers abstract will be a condition of employment.
