Description

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the development, maintenance and evaluation of the Youth Exposed to Violence Program. General Duties and Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain a statement of goals, policies and procedures for program.
Development of program structure and content.
Work with Department of Corrections and Public Safety and the Department of Community Resources and Employment to develop programming appropriate to the needs of at-risk youth within the mandates of Family Service Saskatoon and the government departments.
Coordinate with program managers and other youth-serving organizations and develop appropriate policies and procedures for same.
Develop community partnerships and bridge existing services for youth in the community.
Liaison with the Department of Corrections and Public Safety youth workers.
Maintenance of adequate records, development of a meaningful statistical package to monitor program use and develop evaluative mechanisms for the program.
Report regularly to the Program Manager with respect to program development, operations and directions.
Provide leadership within the agency and the community with respect to services for youth.
Liaison with community agencies or community resources in accord with program needs and philosophy.
Provision of public information sessions.
