The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of all assigned project and proposal activities associated with SEDs Business Units.
Responsibilities include planning how the assigned project team will meet performance, schedule and budget requirements for each project/proposal. Maintaining accurate critical path schedule models. Monitoring the progress of the project/proposal against plan. Determining and initiating appropriate corrective action plans. Building relationships, liaising with the customer, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Providing accurate and timely internal and external reporting and administering subcontracts with customer and suppliers. The Project Manager will assist the Business Unit Vice President with the identification, development, and capture of new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
The position may require travel to customer meetings or site visits throughout the year to global locations.
This position requires an independent individual with strong interpersonal skills. A solid technical background is essential, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, a Technologist Diploma, or equivalent. Five or more years of work experience in a project management environment or a combination of education and experience is required.
