Loraas is looking for someone who has a passion for education, sustainability, marketing, and the environment. Reporting to the Recycle Manager, this position plays is responsible for creating and facilitating a variety of educational and promotional initiatives to heighten awareness of the Loraas brand and recycling in Saskatchewan.

Duties:
Create educational and promotional projects to promote sustainable waste habits and behaviours
Coordinate and lead educational programming and tours for school and youth groups of all ages
Research and develop community-based social marketing initiatives to heighten public awareness of recycling programs in Saskatchewan
Coordinate production of promotional materials and develop written content and creative design
Host tours of Loraas Recycle Materials Recovery Facility and arrange public appearances, lectures, or contests that will increase product or service awareness
Assess educational needs of the marketplace and coordinate strategic promotional responses
Attend related industry events within the marketplace
Respond to requests for information from the media or related agencies, and designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source to respond
Use various internal and external communications, and develop a communications plan
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Education, Business, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience
Previous experience in education and organizational development is an asset
Min. 2 years experience in an education or training role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Office
