Description

The Saskatchewan Provincial Coach-North, will be responsible for: the development, implementation and monitoring of the sprint canoe kayak program in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. A key priority of this position is to increase the number of sprint canoe-kayak athletes participating in high performance sport in this province; with a focus on participation in the Western Canada Games, Canada Summer Games, National Championships and National Team Trials. In addition to athlete recruitment and retention strategies, the coach will work with club coaches, executives and volunteers to create an environment that fosters a love for paddling and provides a safe place for learning and skill development.
