Part-time Cook Opportunity
Love and Laughter Early Learning Centre is a licensed 25-space non-profit child care centre, based in Spiritwood Saskatchewan, who owes much of its success to its enthusiastic and compassionate team of employees and parents.
Love and Laughter is currently seeking a highly motivated person for the position of a permanent part-time Cook.
This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions:
Prepare nutritious snacks and meals.
Grocery shopping.
Assist in housekeeping duties.
Maintain day care supplies and equipment.
Plan and develop day-to-day activities.
Ensure the delivery of a quality licensed child care centre.
15 20 hours a week Monday to Friday.
Flexibility to hours and schedule Monday to Friday from 730 530.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Ability to multi-task, and perform a variety of other tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
Flexible for change in hours and days.
Team building skills with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, and coordination.
Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain certificate.
First Aid/CPR Training or willingness to obtain certificate.
TB test or be willingness to obtain.
All applicants will be required to provide a criminal record check at their own expense prior to job offer.
Starting wage is $12.00 /hr and is based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
