Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technologist at our Colonsay, SK location. The successful candidate will provide testing and data interpretative services to determine condition of underground and surface equipment.

What will you be working on?
* Operate testing equipment to balance and/or analyze condition of underground and surface equipment.
* Interpret data using software as reported by mechanical and electrical daily reports and physical monitoring, advising department of results and possible consequences.
* Performs non-destructive material testing and forwards results to appropriate personnel.
* Perform some drafting and design on site projects as assigned, review data with supervisors, forward for approval and initiate purchase requisitions for researched parts and components.
* Responsible for calculating, interpretation and preparing analytical data for disposition reports.

What is required for this role?
* A recognized, Mechanical Technologist certification or equivalent education.

* A working knowledge of mechanical operations and preventive maintenance principles in coordination with an understanding of CMMS systems, asset reliability, including but not limited to lubrication, precision alignment and balance.
* PDM requirements: Level 1 Vibration, Level 1 Thermography, Level 1 Ultrasound; MCE and NDT is preferred.
* Industrial experience.
* Condition Monitoring (vibration and oil analysis, infrared thermography, Motor Current Analysis) tribology.
* API codes.
