Description

The North Battleford Housing Authority, through contractual agreements, manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The North Battleford Housing Authority provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families, and others, who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter within North Battleford and the neighboring communities.

The Position:
The Administrative Assistant role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of the housing authority in providing both clerical and administrative support. The work involves the coordination and implementation of office procedures which includes word processing, data entry and reception duties.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Grade 12, or equivalent, supplemented by relevant experience.
Training and experience in word processing, email, spreadsheet applications, and online data systems, complemented with accurate data entry skills.
Working knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Positive personal presentation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time management and good judgment.
Good organizational skills, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and handle stressful situations.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure and meet or beat deadlines.
