Description

Support internal and external customers of LAI and the IT Department in the development of software in accordance with corporate guidelines. Define and document functional and technical specifications for client server software development.
Interview internal and external customers to gather requirements. Define document functional and technical specifications for client server software development projects. Validate business processes against data requirements.
Verify that requirements are testable and generate testing objectives. Ensure functional specifications are sound, efficient and support company goals.
Prepare business proposals for software development projects and present to senior management. Communicate application/business knowledge to other members of IT.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical users. Interact with technical resources in problem resolution.
Answer questions about applications for all team members, as well as internal and external customers.
Interface with executives, end users and other technical resources to fulfill end user requirements.
Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints and disputes and resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, timely and courteous manner. Advise the Team Lead of serious complaints or incidents.
Facilitate team discussions and scrum meetings.

Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
Proficient work experience in business analysis and process modeling
Experience with mobile requirements gathering

Desirable: experience with MySQL and an understanding of SDLC, ITIL or other development lifecycles.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree; Four to six years of experience required with a minimum of three years similar analytical experience. A strong understanding of relational databases is required.
