The Project Manager, Operations for the Jansen Project is DMC's senior operational leader on the project, responsible for the oversight of the project sinking, construction and maintenance activities.
The Project Manager, Operations will be accountable to ensure that all safety practices and procedures are followed and supported. The incumbent will be held to high professional standards and conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, the vision and values of DMC Mining Services. This is a term 18 month position located in Jansen, SK, on the Jansen site.

The Project Manager, Operations will be required to deal directly with the client's representatives as well as DMC's regional and corporate teams. The incumbent will ensure that the objectives and scope of the Project are met to DMC standards and Client expectations. They shall be responsible for the overall project quality and quality control program oversight.

The Project Manager, Operations will maintain and grow our relationships with the client and sub-contractors for the Jansen Project. Additionally, the Project Manager, Operations will ensure DMC is well represented and continues to grow our presence in the communities surrounding the project.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1.    Operations management experience with direct production and maintenance experience is a requirement
2.    Minimum of 15+ years working in the mining or mine contracting industry,  direct experience with shaft sinking and mine development
3.    Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior level project management role with a track record of successful completion is a requirement
