Facility: ST PAUL LUTHERAN HOME MELVILLE
Job Description: The Health Services Manager is accountable for the efficient and effective operation of the facility by providing direction, control and coordination of programs of care.  The Health Services Manager is accountable for the delivery, planning and evaluation of direct and indirect client care in accordance with the policies, procedures, mission, vision and values of the Sunrise Health Region and its Affiliates.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Degree or Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
An equivalent combination of post secondary education and training deemed acceptable to the employer may be considered
Certificate or Diploma in Gerontology preferred
Health Care Administration an asset
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years management experience ideally in long-term care, with a demonstrated ability to manage people and resources in the health service environment.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Leadership skills
Superior interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Experience in Health Care Management, able to become an integral part of the Health Region Management Team, assuming responsibility for nursing care and overall operation of a Facility
An understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of the region
Demonstrated ability to direct and facilitate change.
