Description

THE POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work collaboratively with both internal and external structures to provide support to families and communities in receiving service requests and providing timely, appropriate responses with the highest degree of professionalism and utmost attention to quality of care and service excellence.

Reporting to the Associate Program Director, the Central Intake Worker receives documents and assigns reports received regarding children and youth from 0 to 18 years of age to ensure concerns are received, documented and actioned appropriately and remain within response standards; in accordance with legislated obligations.

Central intake is intended to become the initial point of access for all programs and services. This position will be required to become knowledgeable, flexible and well versed in being a centralized hub for community programming; it will expand to connecting all services, in addition to providing linkages for people in urban areas to appropriate supports.
