The QuAppelle Daycare Inc. is looking for a responsible, motivated individual to fill the role of casual child care provider.
Closing date: February 27, 2017
QuAppelle Daycare is located in the school in QuAppelle, Saskatchewan, a community on the #1 highway within commuting distance of Regina. Its a non-profit organization licensed to provide care for 22 children starting at 18 months old. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. We offer a balance of structured activities and unstructured free choice activities, quiet and active play, creative opportunities and child-directed play.
Early
Childhood education preferred- but NOT requires. Should an offer of employment be extended, the candidate will be required to submit a satisfactory criminal record check.
Responsibilities of the position include :
Ensure the overall safety and wellbeing of children enrolled at the centre.
Ensure the implementation of appropriate developmental programming.
Cooking meals
Ensure effective communication with families through implementation of a variety of methods (ex. newsletters, bulletin boards, verbal communication).
