Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership, consultation, training and expertise in HR and Labour Relations with the key objective of building HR capacity across CRC (Coop Refinery Complex) business units.  By working collaboratively and proactively with CRC leaders, this role will assist in defining and leading the implementation of a renewed HR Business Partnership model.  

The Manager, HR Advisory Services leads the implementation of HR strategies, programs and initiatives across CRC and provides input on the development of the strategies. This position works closely with other HR Managers (CRC and Home Office) to ensure consistent alignment and rollout of HR programs and practices across the organization.

The Manager, HR Advisory Services will be responsible for building capacity and developing a team of HR Advisors able to ensure CRC managers/supervisors receive meaningful, responsive services and support in the areas of Employee Relations, Staffing, Performance Management, Employee Development, Workforce Planning, Investigations and other people focused initiatives.

The Manager is also responsible for leading and/or participating in various organizational projects and initiatives (ex. providing input to business unit plan and budget; supporting the roll-out and integration of a competency model into work practices)
