RMD Engineering Inc. is a custom Engineering and manufacturing company specializing in machine design. Our newly built, employee owned and operated office and manufacturing facilities are located in the East Cory Industrial Area of Saskatoon.
RMD Engineering Inc. currently has a staff of approx. 50 professionals and tradespeople and we are looking for an experienced full-time Journeyman Machinist to join our team who will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Machining parts based on CAD drawings, work orders, and customer specifications.
Fit and assemble component and machine parts to fine tolerances.
Efficiently and safely program, set-up, and operate CNC lathe and milling machines, horizontal boring mill, and manual lathes.
Program in standard ISO CNC programming language.
Other general machine shop duties as required.
The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and experience:
6 plus years of related machining experience
Journeyman Machinist with the ability to work responsibly with a focus on safety.
Must have an aptitude for accuracy and consistently produce high quality work.
Experience with computerized shop floor management systems would be an asset.
Entrepreneurial spirit is an asset, RMD Engineering is an Employee owned Company.
Valid Saskatchewan drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
