Reporting to the Manager, Desktop Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the desktop environment to external Celero customers.
A Day in the Life
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing second-level problem investigation, analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of technical inquiries.
Consulting with clients to identify technical requirements.
Rolling out of new hardware including assembly, installation and configuration of hardware, software and network peripherals.
Upgrading and enhancing thin client applications and hardware.
Upgrading and enhancing desktop applications and hardware.
Supporting mobile smart phone technology.
Your Resume
Completion of a recognized post-secondary program in Computer Science, System Administration, Electronic Systems Engineering or an equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting a desktop environment.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification is required.
Relevant information technology certifications are considered an asset.
Experience with Windows 7 and Blackberry OS 10.
Experience with Active Directory, WSUS, Microsoft MDT, Symantec Ghost.
Experience with Citrix Zen App and ZenDesktop technologies.
Experience with virtual desktops would be an asset.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 2016 and 2013 products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio).
Demonstrated ability to investigate, learn and implement new processes and technologies.
Applied knowledge of Symantec Endpoint, VPN technologies and remote administration tools.
Familiarity with information technology processes and best practices.
