Description

Rapidly expanding farm in Brock, SK requiring a long-term or seasonal employee. Serfas Farming Company is a 9000-acre grain farm with a small herd of beef cattle. The individual for this position is required to have a valid 1A license and a minimum of 2 years farm experience. Basic understanding of the day to day operations of a mixed farm is required for the successful applicant.

Duties of the position are, but not limited to the following:

-Maintaining and repair of equipment
-General farm duties
-Experience around livestock
-Work long hours and days at busy times
-Must be capable of physical labour
-Ability to operate some of the following types of equipment and/or willingness to learn
- Combine
- Semi truck
- Haying equipment
- Loader
- Planting equipment
- Air drill
- Swather
- Tillage equipment
- Tractor
Wages for this position are dependant on experience and ability level and can vary between $20 and $26 per hour.
