Description

Skills needed for this position:
Ability to learn and confidence in learning how to use small machinery such as lawn-mower and tractor.
Ability to do physical work.  Raking grass,
patching streets, hauling branches, flushing sewer lines, changing oil in machinery, helping repair machinery.
    Ability to work independently or with
minimum supervision at times.
    Ability to work as part of a team.
    Ability to work with the public in a
positive and friendly courteous manner.
Ability to learn quickly with a willingness to
learn.

Included in this position are the duties that
come with a public works maintenance position such as water testing under Sask. Water Guidelines, general maintenance of the Town and all duties associated with a Maintenance Position.  

Class 5 Drivers License.

Able to work at an outdoors environment in various weather conditions.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors
as well as learning how a municipal government is governed.

The Town of St. Brieux promotes health and
safety for all our employees.  Orientation of
safety procedures will be included prior start of work.  Safety procedures are provided on a
continuing basis.  

Must be attending post-secondary education program in the fall of 2017.
