Looking for a meticulous Industrial Painter with the right work ethic and attitude to perform cleaning and coating of structural steel and metals. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Estevan, SK.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of industrial practices and processes of the painting trade
Minimum 5 years working in structural steel or fabrication operations as a painter
Ability to operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
Perform physical activities, such as but not limited to, lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing and walking.
Legally able to work in Canada immediately
Pass all required employment screenings: drug tests and criminal background check
Strong Assets
Journeyperson or certification in Industrial Painting trade
Ticketed equipment operator
Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory processes
Skills
Produce high quality work with accuracy and speed to meet specifications and standards
Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items with protective or decorative coatings with minimal waste and maximum coverage
Attitude
High degree of safety awareness
Self-motivated, results and task oriented
Strives for quality, detail, time-management and accountability
Works as part of a team and open to feedback on work
