Description

THE SOCIETY FOR THE INVOLVEMENT OF GOOD NEIGHBOURS, (SIGN) is a family and community service agency, which develops and delivers services to enhance the quality of life for individuals and groups in the Yorkton area.   The SIGN Early Learning Centre is currently seeking a Casual/Part Time Early Childhood Educator who is passionate and driven to inspire early childhood development to fill in at the Centre as needed (covering employee holidays, sick days, PDO's, etc.)

Requirements:
-All persons with training in Early Childhood will be considered. Preference will be given  to those who have ECE I, ECE II, or ECE III certification and/or experience in an Early Childhood setting.
-Ability to effectively interact with and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner.
-Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
-Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
-Demonstrated time management skills.
-High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment.
-High level of integrity and work ethic.
-Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion.
-Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check (Please have available at time of interview).
-Valid CPR and First Aid "C" (If not current, willing to update or obtain).
-Willing to work with children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years of age.
-Available to work a variety of hours (7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday)
