From humble beginnings in 1989 when PTI began operating in a two-car garage, we now operate out of a 100,000 square foot facility in Regina and have manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Winnipeg and Ontario.
At PTI, we produce two basic lines of oil-filled transformers. The first is our small distribution transformers, which can be found in residential areas. The second is our large distribution transformers, which are used in commercial and industrial locations (e.g. malls, mines and hospitals), that are customized to meet our customers needs.

Our production facility operates only one shift from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and shop employees enjoy having every second Friday as an earned day off.

In order to be considered for this position, you MUST already be living in Canada and be eligible to work. A criminal record check
will be conducted before hire.
The minimum requirement is to have a grade twelve diploma or GED and at least 2 years experience operating/programming a Press Brake.
Specific Skills
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
- Replace parts as required
- Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together
- Clean and lubricate equipment
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
- Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
- Document work completed
