Public works general labourer responsibilities include:
* Assisting in waste collection- residential and commercial zones, painting and repairs, landfill site,
* Compost pick up and distribution/ processing.
* Assisting in maintenance, repairs, construction of roads
* Assisting with asphalt repair, pothole repair, graveling, traffic marking, traffic control, dust control application
* Signage and barricade installation/ maintenance
* Assist with maintenance and repair of town owned facilities
* Cleaning and janitorial duties of Public Works bldg-office, storage rooms, main shop, washrooms, kennels, washrooms and staff room.
