In collaboration with the General Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel including the building structure, mechanical equipment, and fixtures on the inside and outside of the building including the parking lot and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with General Manager or Maintenance Manager on all major or irregular projects
Maintain a safe swimming environment
Minor drywall repairs and painting
Gardening, landscape maintenance, and snow removal
Perform all other duties as may be required by the General Manager

Specific Maintenance Activities
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
- Empty waste containers
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Paint
- Repair drywall
