What you will do:
As part of our high performing  team, you will work 5 on and two off, day shifts.
In this safety sensitive role, our mechanics have the overall responsibility to perform maintenance and repairs to the Somerville fleet as well as 3rd party maintenance requests.
Duties include:
-    Repair and maintain a diverse fleet as well as and heavy equipment including: semis, agricultural and construction equipment.
-    Perform preventative maintenance, regularly scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs both in the maintenance shop and possibly roadside service.
-    Perform modifications on all vehicles and equipment to meet increased performance requirements and to improve reliability and safety.
-    Document work performed, materials used and condition of the unit.
What you bring:
-    Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Heavy Duty (on Road) Mechanic Certification
-    Valid Class 5 Drivers License; prefer Class 1A with a clean Driving record
-    Prefer previous experience with SGI commercial vehicle inspections
-    Meet the physical demand requirements of the position
-    Meet the requirements of a safety-sensitive position
-    Three or more years working as a certified journeyman would be considered an asset
-    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team
-    Strong attention to detail with the ability to minimize errors
