FCL invites applications for the position of Ag & Home Point of Sale (POS) Co-ordinator in our Home Office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Under the direction of the Crop Supplies Operations & Business Development Manager, the Ag & Home POS Co-ordinator provides ongoing training and support to FCL Ag & Home employees and retail employees on the new Tronia and Mi9 POS systems. This role strives to ensure that Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) employees understand the functional capabilities of the new platforms and are fully utilizing those capabilities. The incumbent will identify deficiencies in the platforms and work collaboratively with IT and the Ag & Home POS Steering Committees to prioritize the need for future enhancements. The incumbent will provide guidance to the Crop Supplies Operations & Business Development Manager and the HABS Operations Manager in determining longer term risks and opportunities involving the Tronia and Mi9 platforms. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and communicating Ag & Home POS operating manuals and training resources to drive consistent application across the CRS. Approximate travel of 15% required.
The successful candidate will have a University degree, with preference for Business or Agriculture and 1 to 3 years of retail sales/marketing experience, with preference for an Agro and/or Home Centre environment. Strong communication and public speaking skills are required.
