Facility: MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT
Job Description: In accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the Five Hills Health Region and Mental Health and Addictions services, reporting to the Director of Child & Youth Services, the incumbent is accountable for providing expert consultation and services to children and youth up to age 19 with ASD or suspected ASD. Using an evidence-based practice approach, the incumbent shall receive and process referrals, screen and triage cases, coordinate and contribute to assessment and diagnosis of ASD, facilitate development of individualized program plans and monitor progress, and facilitate and enhance coordination of treatment services and programs for ASD children and youth.  In addition, the incumbent shall provide clinical supervision to Child & Youth staff and be an expert consultant to parents, professionals, educators and other service providers.  The incumbent shall function within the practice principles of the Mental Health and Addictions Services program management model and within the Framework and Action Plan for Autism Spectrum Disorders Services in Saskatchewan.
Experience
    Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Equivalent, Speech-Language Pathology, or Occupational Therapy
    Eligibility for registration in corresponding professional association.
    Two years of experience working with ASD children, youth, and their families
