Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Settlement & Community Support Services the Youth Team Leader accomplishes the operational objectives by supervising staff, planning and organizing programs and services and monitoring and evaluating work progress. This position requires flexible hours (mornings and afternoons, includes nights occasionally and involves weekend hours, based on program needs) a diverse cultural background is an asset.

**Education and Experience:

-University degree in the social work, education, Kinesiology, or related field and, one year of work experience working with school age children/family counselling services, OR
-Graduate of post secondary program (2 years minimum) in the social sciences, or education, or Kinesiology, and 2 years work experience working with school age children/family counselling services.
-Experience working in a school setting with children, youth, their parents and teachers and school administrators or sport camp coordination. Training in Adlerian counselling, or life skills counselling not mandatory but an asset.

**Required Licenses and/or Certificates:

-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - no criminal record (includes
Vulnerable Sector Search) must be done within last three months.
-Holds a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle for travel purposes.
