Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. - EGADZ
Is an inter-agency, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for youth at risk in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.
This position is within EGADZ Youth Centre for the Drop-In component and is responsible for the daily operations of the Center and assisting the youth who hang out. Responsibilities vary from building trusting relations with youth to advocating and providing immediate services for the youth including nutrition, clothing, and referrals for issues they require assistance with in Saskatoon.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in the human services field, equivalent experience or a combination of both.
Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, partnering agencies.
Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form.
Working knowledge of computers/windows.
Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and issues.
Must have a valid drivers license that reflects a safe driving record - A Driver's Abstract is Required (Within 3 Months).
