Description

The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of a team of other design engineers developing cutting edge pneumatic systems for agricultural and industrial applications.  This team creates custom solutions for the industry from the basic concept stage through prototyping and testing stages, up to and including preparing the new product for production engineering.
The responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer will include:
Extensive research                     Design of new product    
CFD Analyses                         Analysis of test data            
Project Management                     Designing test simulators            
Modeling and Drafting, using Solidworks and         Finite Element Analysis, (FEA)
    AutoCAD                         Fabricating prototypes, hands-on
Working with customers in various locations         Testing in field conditions and on simulators
    including overseas
Skills & Qualifications:
Preference is given to candidates with experience in manufacturing and/or farm industry and equipment.
Mechanical Engineering degree, or related training with relevant experience
(i.e.: Eng. Tec. Diploma with applied experience in equipment design)
Working knowledge of SolidWorks and CFD, (preferred)
Proven troubleshooting abilities and problem solving skills
Project management experience
Innovative design aptitude
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Clear communication practices in English, in both verbal and written format
A valid Canadian passport and drivers license
