AGI-Envirotank in Biggar, SK is a leading manufacturer of steel storage tanks. We are currently in need of a Cost Estimator to analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labour estimates for customers. A background in cost accounting would be a definite asset.
Skills & Abilities:
- Submit RFQ's to external vendors as needed for matierial costs.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Understanding of fabrication techniques.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to problem solve and manage competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
- Self-directed with the ability to multi-task, follow-up and prioritize to complete assignments on tight deadlines.
