The Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery Branch, has an exciting career opportunity for an energetic, passionate and committed individual to work in the Centre Service Area based in Saskatoon. Reporting to the Director Community and Client Services (Centre), this position will provide leadership, guidance and oversight of community-based services that assist individuals with intellectual disabilities to live more independently and participate more fully in communities. You will be responsible to provide leadership and direction in the development and delivery of a continuum of programs through partnerships with community-based organizations (CBOs). Using a citizen-centred lens, you will be responsible for: resource planning and development; facilitating collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, families, CBOs, agencies and other ministries; leading community and interministry/interagency initiatives; project and service area budget planning and oversight; contract development; and monitoring community-based program delivery outcomes for clients. Your primary goal will be to enhance community inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Travel will be required.
