Description

17.5 hours per week
Creating and leading an amazing team:
-You will recruit, train and actively manage an integrated team of staff and volunteers who will be accountable for delivering the peer groups, recreation, youth leadership, and other related programming to people who are blind.
-You will foster an inclusive, empowered culture where every team member feels valued, respected, engaged and driven to succeed.

Developing, delivering and monitoring best-in-class programs:
-You will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of peer groups, recreation, youth leadership, and other related programming, working within established standards.
-Youll constantly seek ways of growing and improving the program so that local participants have the best possible outcomes.
Engaging and empowering participants: You will help us build strong, positive relationships with program participants, gaining insight into their unique needs and lived experiences, and ensuring they have the support they need to reach their goals.
Building strong community relationships: You will be a key local ambassador for CNIB, developing effective partnerships with community organizations, funding agencies, individual and corporate donors, volunteers and others to help advance our mission in the community.
