Description

Overall management of existing materials testing labs in Regina & Saskatoon. Challenging requiring individual with strong technical background, strong leadership capabilities & business acumen necessary to support strategic initiative. Saskatchewan materials testing group currently offers a wide range of services, specifically tuned to clients needs. Currently provide materials testing services to major clients in the Government, Mining & Industrial/Commercial sectors.
Qualifications
    Diploma or Certified Technician in Civil (Materials) Engineering OR
    University graduate (degree in geotechnical, geological or civil (materials) engineering preferred)
    10 years experience since graduation or 15 years experience in providing practical materials engineering services relevant to a variety of projects (transportation, mining, civil, municipal, commercial development, resource industries, utilities, building structures)
Supervisory/management experience, with knowledge of local markets
    Strong written & verbal communication skills
    Desire to provide excellent practical client service, & a commitment to technical excellence
    Ability & desire to build & supervise in a challenging local/regional market consulting practice
    Well organized, ability to manage & prioritize several assignments at one time, deliver on time & on budget
    Ability to travel & spend time in both Regina & Saskatoon as required
