The RM of Pleasantdale is seeking an operating foreman to oversee road maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is willing to get their hands dirty. We require someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a solid knowledge of road building, basic budgeting and records keeping skills, with at least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Preference will be given to candidates with industry credentials such as a class 1A licence. This is a full-time permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Key accountabilities and duties
Manage road maintenance activities (45% of time)
Provide accountability and direction to Administrator and Council (15% of time)
Operate equipment and perform road maintenance work (40% of time)
