We are accepting applications for an Accounting Manager for our Yorkton Sask. facility.
Responsibilities include:
Hands on leadership to the Administrative and Transactional Accounting staff.
You will be responsible to perform daily, monthly and annual accounting to ensure compliance with the Companys accounting and finance policies and procedures.
Weekly, monthly and annual reporting to be used for business analysis and forecasting
Assisting in ensuring different software packages reconcile to one system.
Being a proactive team member to lead the team through the month end process and produce accurate and timely financial statements.
Position Requirements
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 5 or more years of experience preferred. An Accounting Designation would be considered an asset, but not a requirement.
Financial experience in a manufacturing setting would be an asset.
Competent self-starter with abilities and knowledge of Accounting and Processing Software
Ability to learn the Companys business in order to build relationships with various departments.
Approaches a position in a growing company as a progressive challenge with a positive attitude toward teamwork.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ability to work in multiple systems.
