Description

At S3 Manufacturing, the Technical Project Manager will contribute to the achievement of organizational goals by providing leadership of technical projects such as proto-typing, existing product development and testing; prioritizing tasks for the Engineering department to support productivity and quality advancements through lean process improvements; recommending new manufacturing techniques and tooling.  The successful candidate will be a results-driven decision-maker capable of providing solutions and communicating them effectively to meet challenges as they arise.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating project resources
Leading project teams and processes
Developing project scope to meet specific market requirements and expectations
Managing cost controls against budget
Managing schedule timeliness through milestone progression
Negotiating with subcontractors as needed
Reporting on project progression through solution based objectives
These are some of the skills required in a Technical Project Manager:

Engineering Technician diploma, Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in engineering/design role
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
Supervisory experience
Proven ability to summarize project data and results to aid business decisions.
Proficiency in computer software programs such as SolidWorks, Auto CAD, and Microsoft office.
