TimeLine Logistic, a successful, growing logistics organization is seeking a highly motivated logistics coordinator / dispatcher

Overview of the position:
Responsible for dispatching drivers and equipment in an efficient and economical way while meeting our customer needs through superior customer
service.

Duties:
-Complete and detailed information and
instructions when taking orders from customers
-Schedule equipment and drivers to perform daily workload through reviewing available equipment
-Promote efficient utilization of both driving
personnel and equipment
-Promote effective communication between dispatch, customers and drivers
-Develop a working knowledge of all products being transported, regulations and operating
authorities, approximate operating time, distance and specific conditions pertinent to each trip
-Ensure that the safest considerations and
practices are employed in all dispatch activities
-Ensure that drivers are selected and dispatched in compliance with NSC and US DOT hours of service regulations and the drivers hours of service is being monitored daily.
- Working with Customs brokers to complete Canada and US Customs clearances and completing ACE/ACI for drivers to cross the Can/US border.

Qualifications:
-2-5 years of direct related experience would be beneficial
-Working knowledge of transportation regulations
-Class 1A license would be and asset
-Professionalism, dependability and reliability
