Description

Hometown Co-op is expanding and we are currently recruiting for a Fertilizer Plant Supervisor. This position requires a dynamic self-starter with strong technical knowledge and a positive, ambitious attitude. Knowledge of the fertilizer industry or willing to take applicable training would be an asset. Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this position. The Fertilizer Plant Supervisor will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by operating and maintaining a state of the art fertilizer blending facility, booking, and managing inventory to best maximize the plant while adhering to AWSA standards, assist with bin sales, delivery of chemical, and ag equipment as well as other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities
-forklift and skid steer license
-Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate
-WHMIS Certificate
-Class 1A license

Qualifications
-Self-Motivated
-Excellent organizational skills
-Attention to detail
-Communicate effectively with customers and staff
-Capable of attaining high levels of production with minimum supervision
-Fertilizer knowledge
-Problem solving skills
