Description

The Manager of Economic Forecasting & Analysis (M-EF&A) will lead the development and implementation of SREDAs economic forecasting services, while working closely with the City of Saskatoon, Regional Members and the local business community to provide timely, relevant and digestible economic information and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop SREDAs Quarterly Economic Reports & Dashboard
- Provide economic outlook and issue briefings to key stakeholders in the Saskatoon Region
- Support the growth the development of SREDAs Daily Economic NEWSflash
- Assist with managing SREDAs annual Saskatoon Region Economic Outlook Forum
- Liaise with economists/economic organizations to understand current economic issues & trends
- Develop info-graphics/material on economic trends & issues utilizing the services of SREDAs Marketing & Communications team
- Represent SREDA in the business community to develop a network of business professionals and companies that SREDA can assist with business growth issues
- Lead the development of research papers and consulting projects for key stakeholders (City of Saskatoon, Regional Municipalities, Local Businesses, Government, etc.).
- Analyze key and emerging sectors in the Saskatoon Region economy
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO or the Director
