Description

The successful candidate will hold a diploma/degree related to Environmental Technology/Sciences and/or have experience in the field of environmental assessments and drilling waste management.  The candidate must be familiar with all aspects of the current Acknowledgment of Reclamation Requirements Directive PNG016, Saskatchewan GL 99-01 Guidelines.  You are an accountable individual who enjoys multi-tasking and working on his/her own as this position requires good time management skills and self-discipline. Your role will mainly be responsible for the Site Assessments of Prairie Muds clients in the immediate and surrounding Estevan, Weyburn, Stoughton, Carlyle, Redvers, Carnduff and Oxbow areas. You are a forward outside the box thinker with the ability to keep current clients happy and develop new opportunities.   The successful candidate will be responsible for field projects and completing office work (50% field and 50% office).
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Site supervision and performing a variety of field work for assessment, remediation and reclamation projects
oEnvironmental Evaluations (including MOE Checklist, Heritage referral)
oPre-Disturbance Assessments
oDetailed Site Assessments
oPhase I &  II Environmental Site Assessments
Drilling Waste Management
Soil and water sampling/analysis;
Report preparation;
Documentation of all activities and regulatory filings
Professional Designation such as: P.Ag., AT., P.Eng., A.Sc.T,  or another approved professional designation
A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience including experience managing various investigation, reclamation and remediation projects
Experience in conducting environmental site assessments, environmental impact assessments and drilling waste management would be considered an asset
