Description

Vertex is currently accepting applications for one full-time, permanent Project Manager - Insulation. The successful candidate should have experience managing small to large scale insulation projects, specifically involved in planning, organizing and controlling of the project to meet or exceed our clients safety, quality, cost and scheduling expectations. As a Vertex Project Manager, the candidate would work with the site and home office to execute all aspects of the project and ensure project deliverables are met.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/Diploma from a University, Technical School or College in Engineering, Drafting and Design, or other related discipline
Must have minimum of five (5) years project management work experience: industrial insulation, projects in the oil and gas, or other heavy industrial construction sector
Specific Training in Construction Project Management would be a significant asset

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all activities and functions of assigned area that will impact overall operations, budget, personnel, quality control and safety performance.
Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate all assigned project activities, including mobilization, demobilization, manpower requirement, scheduling of company equipment, materials and facilities, to ensure work is efficiently and effectively executed.
Responsible for coordinating day-to-day operational activities of assigned projects and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working conditions.
Regularly visits project sites and conduct review meetings.
