Nose to Toes Wholife Pet Center is a busy Pet Salon & Spa with a storefront for Pet Health Food. The position is for a pet bather and retail customer service person. Below are the desired skillsets.
Ability to bath, brush, dry, clip nails
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment while remaining calm at all times.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a noisy environment
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to obtain Pet First Aid Certification
Other skills/requirements include:
A friendly, "can do" attitude
A team player
Cash/debit experience an asset
Retail sales experience an asset
Superior customer service, dog and people skills an asset
Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds
We require someone with a patient and calm demeanor with a genuine love for dogs and cats.
In addition to the duties of a pet bather you will be required to jump in as the groomers assistant/bather or assist Salon self service. Other duties required:
Maintain shop cleanliness, both in and out of the grooming area.
Assist customers by accepting pet guests in or checking out, answering phones, and/or client questions
Assisting with retail sales
Any other duties as directed from time to time by the Head Stylist.

Short Listed applicants will be required to do a demo to assess skill sets. Preference will be given to applicants with Vet Tech or Grooming training.
