Are you seeking an opportunity to gain some valuable experience that will aid you in your pursuit of a law enforcement career?

ESM Emergency Security Management is currently recruiting licensed loss prevention officers to work in Saskatoon.

As a loss prevention officer, your responsibility is to minimize the financial losses of a retail operation related to theft, vandalism, accident, and injury. You will possess the ability to detect safety issues and security violations, and take the appropriate actions to control the situation and apprehend suspects.

You will be responsible for following company policies to ensure the situation is safely and correctly handled including contacting the proper authorities and completing paperwork to proceed criminally.

You will enjoy an above average rate of pay, receive comprehensive training on how to handle conflict situations and we will also provide safety equipment required for you to do the job properly.

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of the 40 hour Security Course
Post-secondary education in a law enforcement program or currently enrolled in a law enforcement program or related course
Valid Driver's license and own vehicle preferable
Previous experience in a law enforcement capacity an asset
Previous experience in security or loss prevention an asset
Must be proficient in the English language, both oral and written
Must be confident in handling conflict situations
